AMBASSADOR ABEL GUTERRES WITH BRUNEI INVESTORS MEET THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC

Timor-Leste’s Ambassador to Brunei, Abel Guterres, with Brunei investors meet the President of the Republic, J. Ramos-Horta to provide information on the President’s upcoming state visit to Brunei and the investment plans of the company Stratacom Global Sdn Bhd from Brunei.
“We also discussed about the signing an agreement between Timor-Leste and Brunei during the visit that would allow Timorese people to work in Brunei,” Ambassador Abel Guterres explained in the interview.
There was also a discussion with representatives of the Brunei company Stratacom Global, which is planning to invest in Timor-Leste, particularly in Dili and Baucau, in the tourism sector. “Now we are in the preparation phase for the investment agreement,” Said Ambassador Abel Guterres.
The President of the Republic thanked Brunei for its support with these initiatives that will contribute to the development of Timor-Leste.
